Beta Program Terms

You're using a pre-production beta. These terms supplement the full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply. In any conflict, the full Terms govern.

1. Beta program acknowledgment

ResaleTruth is currently in pre-production beta. You understand and accept that:

  • Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
  • The service is not yet feature-complete
  • We make no uptime guarantees during the beta period
  • You may encounter bugs, data display errors, or calculation anomalies
  • The beta is provided at no charge; this reflects its pre-production status

2. Diagnostics and feedback

To improve the product, we may collect usage diagnostics — which features you use, how often, and where errors occur. We do not sell diagnostic data or use it for advertising.

We welcome your feedback. Bug reports, feature requests, and honest criticism all shape the product. You can reach us at [email protected] or through the in-app feedback prompt.

Feedback you submit is not confidential and may be used to improve the product. You retain ownership of your data — feedback about the product is different from data you enter into it.

3. Data handling during beta

We treat your beta data with the same care as production data: encrypted in transit and at rest, not sold, not shared beyond the processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

At General Availability launch, we will make every reasonable effort to preserve your existing data and migrate it cleanly to the GA database schema. However, we cannot guarantee zero data loss during a schema migration. If a breaking migration is required, we will notify you at least 7 days in advance and provide a data export before the migration runs.

4. Access revocation

Beta access is granted at our discretion. We reserve the right to revoke beta access at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. If we revoke access, we will provide a data export on request within 5 business days.

You may leave the beta at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Account → Delete account.

5. No warranty

The beta service is provided AS-IS and AS-AVAILABLE without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the beta will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that profit figures it produces are accurate enough for tax filing. Do not file taxes based solely on ResaleTruth beta output without independent verification.

ResaleTruth is not a licensed tax advisor. Nothing in the product or on this site constitutes tax or legal advice.

6. Limitation of liability

During the beta period, ResaleTruth's total liability for any claim is limited to $0 (as the service is provided at no charge). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the beta, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

7. Acceptance

By redeeming a beta code and creating a ResaleTruth account, you confirm that you have read these Beta Program Terms and the full Terms of Service, and that you accept them. If you do not accept, do not create an account.
