Accessibility Statement
ResaleTruth is committed to making this website usable by everyone. This statement describes our current accessibility posture, known limitations, and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.
1. Our commitment
We aim to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across resaletruth.com and app.resaletruth.com. Our goal is a site that works regardless of how you access it — keyboard, screen reader, voice control, or any other assistive technology.
2. What we've done
- Semantic HTML5 elements (
nav, main, footer, article) throughout - Keyboard navigable interface — all interactive elements reachable and operable via Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter / Space
- Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements
- Color contrast targets at or above 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text (WCAG AA)
- Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images; decorative images marked
aria-hidden - ARIA landmark roles and labels on navigation regions
- Page titles distinct per route for orientation in browser history and screen readers
- Responsive layout — usable at 320px width and at 400% browser zoom without horizontal scroll
3. Known limitations
This site is in active development. Some pages or components may not yet fully meet AA standards. Specific areas we're working on:
- Interactive data tables in the app — full keyboard navigation and screen-reader announcements are in progress
- Complex chart components — text summaries for screen-reader users are planned
- Some third-party embedded content may not meet our same standards
We audit the marketing site manually and update this statement when the posture changes.
4. How to report issues
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site — a form you can't complete, a navigation sequence that traps focus, content you can't access with your assistive technology — please tell us. We take these reports seriously and aim to address confirmed issues within 5 business days.
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: "Accessibility issue" is helpful but not required.
Please include the page URL and a brief description of the barrier.
5. Compatibility
This site is designed to be compatible with:
- NVDA + Firefox (Windows)
- JAWS + Chrome (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS / iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
We test against current stable releases. If you use a different combination and encounter an issue, we still want to hear about it.
